NDSU infielders Montana DeCamp and Sam Koehn were among the 11 student-athletes named to the 2021 Summit League Softball Academic All-League Team on June 4, by a vote of the league's sports information directors and faculty athletic representatives.

DeCamp, a senior from Indianola, Iowa, received the honor for the third straight year with a 4.0 grade-point average in elementary education. Koehn, a senior from Altoona, Iowa, earned the award for the second straight year with a 3.91 GPA in sport management.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions, except pitchers, who must have participated in 20 percent of their team's total contests.

Nominations are submitted by sports information directors from the league's participating members, and voting is conducted by both SIDs and FARs. The teams are made up of nine student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
