Individuals to be honored for creating welcoming campus

NDSU has scheduled a reception and awards ceremony to acknowledge the efforts of faculty, staff and students who create a welcoming, safe and inclusive campus environment where all people can learn and work.

The fourth annual Green and Golden Globe Diversity Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, April 15, in the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. An opening reception to thank donors and honor award winners will begin at 3 p.m. The program and awards ceremony will follow at 3:30 p.m.   

In addition to recognizing various students and community members, the following people will be honored: Don Warne, Brad Brummond, Linda Helstern, Amy Graff, Anita Welch, Wendy Clarin, Carrie Anne Platt, Jennifer Erickson and Shahryar Kianian. The NDSU Center for Child Development also will be recognized. 

The NDSU Division of Equity, Diversity and Global Outreach created the event. It is free and open to the public.
