Schedule an Academic Mentor Appointment:
(TRIO SSS students only)
Fall & Spring Peer Mentor hours are: Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Instructions:
- Log into Bison Advise.
- Under the Connect column, click on "Schedule a Tutoring Session."
- Click the "+ Create" button to begin setting up your appointment.
- Under Service Areas, select "TRIO Programs" — this ensures your tutoring is through TRIO SSS.
- Under Session Types, choose "Academic Peer Mentoring"
- Leave the Courses section blank
- You can choose a specific mentor or skip this step if you don’t have a preference.
- Select a date to view available appointment times.
- Choose a time slot that works for you.
- Select your location: either In-Person at Ceres 337 or Zoom Meeting.

Click "Create" to finalize your appointment.
Your mentoring appointment will now appear under the Calendar tab in Bison Advise. If it's a Zoom session, the link will be included. You can also review or cancel your appointment from there.
