The NDSU Wellness Center has partnered with Mick's Scuba to bring you a scuba course in aquatics! The class will be offered for $320.

The scuba course will meet for 6 weeks from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning March 26.

Roll with us Thursday nights! The goal is simple: Stay on the log longer than the other person.

Canoe Battleship
Staff tested, student approved! The Wellness Center will offer a one-day tournament for canoe battleship using our own canoes. Put together your team and prepare to sink all the opposing canoes in this team-oriented, fast-paced, exciting offering that we are happy to have in aquatics!

Swim Meet
Showcase your aquatic prowess in this friendly competition. Choose from the 50 Free, 100 IM, 100 Free,, 200 IM, 500 Free and 400 medley relay.

Build or continue healthy habits this Spring! Write your name on the Challenge Leaderboard on first floor fitness and start recording your movement minutes. Record increments of 15 or 30 minutes of physical activity on the tracker, reach the goal for the month (150 minutes per week), and be entered to win prizes!!

Red Cross Learn-to-Swim courses offered through the NDSU Swim Academy are designed to provide children and young teens with a positive, developmentally appropriate aquatic learning experience. Each class is filled with fun, engaging and challenging activities that motivate participants to want to perform and learn how to swim.

For detailed descriptions of each level and all available session times, refer to the Swim Academy Page.

This beginner adult group swim class is for the novice swimmer who wants to learn the basics of swimming and water survival while gaining comfort in the water. Must have goggles and proper swimwear to participate. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Level 1 Beginner (5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.)- Learn the basics of swimming. Designed for people with no pool experience.
Level 2 Beginner (6:20 p.m. - 7:05 p.m.)- Designed for people with limited pool experience or have completed level 1.
Intermediate (7:10 p.m. - 7:55 p.m.)- Designed for people who want to progress by swimming faster and further and builds off what is taught in level 2.

Session 1: January 23-February 8
Session 2: February 13-February 29
Session 3: April 2-April 18

Cost: Student $45.00, Non-Student (must be a member) $60.00

Sunrise Swim: Enjoy your morning workout in aquatics without all the bright lights. The overhead lighting will be reduced and the underwater lighting will be turned on. Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:00 - 8:00 a.m - during the academic year

Night Swim: Relax at the end of the day in aquatics. The overhead lighting will be turned down and the underwater lighting and fire pit will be turned on. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday Nights: 9:00 - 10:30 p.m. - during the academic year
