Biological sciences seminar set for Oct. 11

The Department of Biological Sciences and co-sponsor USDA-APHIS-WS National Wildlife Research Center are set to host a seminar by Jeffrey F. Kelly, Professor Corix Chair and director of the Plains Institute in the Department of Biology at the University of Oklahoma, Norman.

Kelly’s presentation, ““Insights into Seasonal Animal Phenology from Weather Radar Data,” is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. in Van Es 101.

Everyone is welcome.

Kelly’s research interest is applied aeroecology – the ecology of life in the air. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Maine, master’s degree from Oklahoma State University and doctorate at Colorado State University.
