Laura Oster-Aaland, vice provost for student affairs and enrollment management, has been named to the PeopleSoft Executive Steering Committee. She was appointed by the Student Affairs Council.

PeopleSoft is the enterprise resource planning software used by the North Dakota University System to manage business functions for the 11 institutions of the system, the system’s office and Core Technology Services.

The committee advises PeopleSoft staff by making recommendations on initiatives, priorities, policies and procedures. The group also reviews the alignment of resources with the recommendations.

“I’m pleased to serve on the committee,” Oster-Aaland said. “Because PeopleSoft is integral to the work that we do in serving students I am happy to be able to provide timely and meaningful feedback to CTS on its execution. I encourage users of the Campus Solutions module to pass along feedback to me so that I may bring concerns forward.”

Oster-Aaland earned her bachelor’s degree in child development and family science, master’s degree in communication and doctorate in education – institutional analysis. All her degrees were earned at NDSU.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
