Getting started with teaching

NDSU has several resources to support you in your teaching efforts through our Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) and the Instructional Design Center (IDC).

OTL has several resources to get you started including tips, hints and resources. Some resources available on their website include a first day toolkit and a teaching tips booklet. You can also find resources on course design, a reading corner, awards, and instructional design on their faculty resources page. They host several events throughout the year.

IDC supports innovative course design, digital accessibility, and academic technology. They host walk-in hours as well as several training sessions throughout the year.
