OTL Seeking Faculty Fellow Applications For 2023-24

Apply today to become a faculty fellow in OTL.

The Office of Teaching and Learning will be hosting a faculty teaching fellow for the 2023-24 academic year. The fellow position is a leadership and professional development opportunity. The program is open to faculty at the rank of associate professor or higher (tenured or non-tenured) in any discipline.

The faculty teaching fellow will provide support and leadership in instructional professional development in collaboration with the director of the Office of Teaching and Learning to advance a culture of learning improvement at NDSU.

Selected faculty will serve from Monday, August 14, 2023, to Friday, May 10, 2024, and will contribute approximately 100 hours during this time period. Summer hours may be available as appropriate.

The Office of the Teaching and Learning will either provide a $5,000 supplement (1) directly to the Faculty Teaching Fellow or (2) provide the Faculty Teaching Fellow’s academic home department with the same amount for the individual’s use, such as for course release, professional development, graduate assistant support, travel, research funds, etc.

To apply, please email a statement of interest describing your experience in innovative and evidence-based instructional practices as well as your ability to organize and support instructional programs at NDSU to Dr. Stacy Duffield by end of the day on Friday, April 28, 2023.
