These professional development opportunities are available in a variety of topics and are offered on-demand, which means they are available to you when you want to learn. The faculty development opportunities listed below may also offer some professional development in a live, online format as well.

The Office of Teaching and Learning holds a campus-wide membership with Go2Knowledge offering FREE, unlimited access to on-demand and live webinars for faculty, instructors, and staff. Go2Knowledge has more than 300 on-demand webinars and more than 150 live webinars offered each year. Individuals who complete a webinar receive a digital certificate of completion that can be directly uploaded to your LinkedIn account.

On-demand and live webinars offer topics for individuals who work in higher education and want to develop their skills in the following areas:

How To Access Go2Knowledge

Click the button below to go to NDSU's single sign on page for Go2Knowledge. Use the same single sign on credentials you use for all other applications and click login. You will be taken to your personal dashboard where you can select the topics that are of interest to you. Your personal dashboard allows you to view a list of all on-demand and live webinars as well as keep track of webinars you have participated in. 

Courses offered through the Pathways Program provide learners with a free option to grow their skills. These self-paced courses range from 20-hour micro-courses, to 90-hour robust courses. They are a great option for students and professionals looking to expand their current knowledge, or pursue a new career path at no cost. Courses include introduction to coding, Java and object-oriented programming, relational databases, AWS, CompTIA, Pega, Salesforce and more.

To view all Pathways offerings, click the button below. When you have decided on a course you would like to take click the Enroll Now button and fill out the form. Click the Register New Account Button.

Learn how to thrive in academia through the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity's (NCFDD) four pronged approach to faculty development. Professional development topics include: Strategic Planning, Explosive Productivity, Healthy Relationships, and Work-Life Balance. Learning opportunities are available through a small group faculty success program, a semesterly core curriculum planning webinar, 14-day writing challenges, guest expert webinars, multi-week courses, a dissertation success curriculum, a Monday motivator micro-learning email, and a "Professoring" podcast.

How to Access NCFDD On-Demand Learning

Click the button below to begin the process. When you get to the NCFDD website follow these instructions to set up your account and gain access.

• In the drop-down menu, select "North Dakota State University"
• Click Continue
• Click Activate My Membership
• Fill in the requested information and choose a strong password
• Click Continue
• Fill in the requested information
• Click Continue
• Review your information
• Click Continue
• Check for an activation email and click Activate Account
• Click Go To Dashboard
