Dr. Natasha Fillmore
Assistant Professor

Dr. Natasha Fillmore is an assistant professor at North Dakota State University in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.  She earned her PhD (Pharmacology) at the University of Alberta in 2016. Recently, Fillmore completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health where she was awarded the Lenfant fellowship (NHLBI funded). She is broadly interested in the role of energy metabolism in regulating cellular stress and the role it plays in muscle physiology and disease.

Redemptor Zhou
PhD Student

Redemptor joined the Fillmore Lab in Spring 2023 as a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Originally from Zimbabwe; he did his Bachelor’s at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana as an MCF Scholar. His research interests include understanding the role of lipid metabolism dysfunction in heart failure and the associated molecular changes.
