To develop scientific and presentation skills, trainees are encouraged to write fellowship applications and present research at local and national scientific meetings. Our large lab includes its own cell culture suite, as well as other equipment, including a RT-PCR machine, and access to the state-of-the-art equipment in the department.

Extensive core facilities are available to our lab including electron microscopy, histology, biostatistics cores and an animal facility. North Dakota State University is ranked as one of the top universities in the United States and is designated as an R1 research institution.
