Offered collaboratively through the College of Business and College of Engineering, the MSPM prepares individuals to advance their careers by developing expertise in both the technical and the human aspects of project management. Ideal for individuals in project-oriented industries, such as healthcare, manufacturing and construction, finance and insurance, and utilities, this program equips professionals with the necessary tools for effective management of projects, people, and resources.

MSPM Curriculum

The MSPM curriculum requires 30 credits for degree completion. Core courses focus on topics such as project management lifecycle, risk analysis, scheduling methods, managerial and organizational leadership, and financial management within supply chain operations. An extensive list of elective course options can be customized to fit individuals' scheduling needs, interest areas, and career goals.

In order to be considered for graduate admission, applicants must demonstrate proof of English proficiency in one or more of the following three ways:

1. Applicant was raised in a country† in which English is the only official language.

2. Applicant has earned a bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution in a country in which English is the only official language.

3. Applicant submits an official English language test score—TOEFL iBT 71 or higher; IELTS academic 6.0 or higher; PTE academic 50 or higher; or Duolingo 105 or higher (must not be expired).

Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Canada (except Quebec), Dominica, the Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, Mauritius, Micronesia (Federated States of), New Zealand, Nigeria, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Cost

All MSPM students are charged the North Dakota in-state graduate business differential tuition rate, regardless of their residency.

The cost of tuition and fees is $746.82 per credit, or approximately $22,405 for the full 30-credit program.
