NDSU Global Seminars
NDSU offers a variety of short-term, faculty-led study abroad opportunities. Travel with an NDSU faculty member and fellow students while earning course credit during winter break or spring break. We’ve highlighted two programs led by College of Business faculty that offer great opportunities for business students.
Morocco & Spain
Application Deadline: October 1, 2026
Travel Dates: January 1 - 12, 2027 (Winter Break)
Travel from the vibrant streets of Seville to the blue city of Chefchaouen while exploring how culture shapes business, leadership, and the workplace across Spain and Morocco.
- Explore Seville and visit the historic Royal Alcázar.
- Travel through Morocco and discover Tetouan, Chefchaouen, and Tangier.
- Connect with local professionals and explore business, HR, and
leadership across cultures. - Experience Tangier’s traditional markets while observing

Chile

Travel Dates: March 4 - 13, 2027 (Spring Break)
Travel from the dynamic capital of Santiago to the colorful coastal cities of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso while exploring business, entrepreneurship, and culture across Chile.
- Explore Santiago and discover the history, culture, and neighborhoods of Chile’s capital.
- Connect with local organizations and explore business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Chile.
- Visit Kingston Family Vineyard and discover winemaking and business operations firsthand.
- Explore international trade and global commerce at the Port of Valparaíso.
- Discover colorful Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and experience its unique cultural and maritime heritage.
- Experience Chilean culture through local neighborhoods, coastal landscapes, and a hands-on cooking class.

Waseda University - Japan
One of Japan’s most highly regarded universities, with a strong reputation in business and management.
Chung-Ang University – South Korea
A well-regarded university supported by Doosan, with strong business programs and an excellent location in the heart of Seoul.
Thammasat University – Thailand
One of Thailand’s leading universities, and its business school is particularly well regarded. Thammasat Business School was the first business school in Thailand to achieve Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA).
