Call for Proposals: Dean's Excellence Fund for Students

The NDSU College of Business invites proposals from student organizations seeking funding to support experiential learning activities, including travel, competitions, conferences, and hands-on projects that enhance academic and professional development. $50,000 total funding is available; $10,000 maximum award per group.

Collegiate DECA

North Dakota Collegiate DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Membership provides opportunities to hone your professionalism and networking skills, as well as a chance for award recognition.

MIS Club

The MIS Club is an organization for students who are enthusiastic about technology and/or business. It is open to all majors and focuses on learning, making new friends, and creating connections with different businesses. Monthly meetings feature speakers from various local businesses, pizza and pop, and networking. Members also have opportunities to tour some of the region's larger businesses.

NDSU Entrepreneurship Club

The NDSU Entrepreneurship Club is a vibrant, cross-campus community where students from any major can dive into the world of innovation, creativity, and venture-building. Whether you're sketching out your first business idea or just curious about how entrepreneurship works, this club is your launchpad. Powered by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business, we host dynamic events year-round that spark ideas, build networks, and inspire action. Members have the chance to take on leadership roles, collaborate on real-world projects, and connect with local entrepreneurs. Come as you are, leave with big ideas, real connections, and the tools to launch something extraordinary!

NDSU Human Resource Association

The NDSU Human Resource Association is a professional student organization nationally affiliated with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and locally affiliated with the Fargo-Moorhead HR Association. Our group is dedicated to developing a better understanding of the aspects of Human Resource Management, including: Employment Law, Recruitment, Selection, Training, Compensation, Performance Appraisal, and Labor Relations.

One of the main goals of the organization is to enhance the professional development of each member and to keep students up to date on new developments in the field of Human Resource Management.

Pathway Ventures

Students + Startups: Leading students and startups towards success through knowledge, capital, and opportunity.

Pathway Ventures is a student-run venture capital fund dedicated to giving students hands-on experience in the world of investing and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to empower students and startups by offering more than just capital — we provide real-world opportunities to learn, lead, and grow. At Pathway Ventures, students are at the forefront of evaluating startups, managing investments, and working directly with founders — gaining practical skills that go far beyond the classroom. Pathway Ventures is supported by CEFB and the NDSU Foundation.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) Club

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Club is open to undergraduate and graduate students both within and outside of the College of Business who have an interest in logistics, operations, or optimizing the flow of products and services.

For students majoring in Supply Chain, Economics, Management, Finance, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering—or for those who simply are curious about how global businesses operate behind the scenes, this club is the perfect place to expand industry knowledge, network with professionals, and develop key skills in a rapidly growing field. We aim to create an engaging, hands-on environment for members to explore real-world supply chain challenges and solutions through workshops, industry visits, and guest lectures.

Members of the SCM Club will gain valuable insights into key topics such as procurement, logistics, production planning, and inventory management. They also get to collaborate on exciting case studies, participate in competitions, and even organize events where industry experts share their experiences and advice on building successful supply chain careers. Students at every level of experience are welcome to join and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from peers, improve problem-solving skills, and become more competitive in the job market.
