Accounting students, this is a must! As a member of the Accounting Club, you will build your networking skills while spending time making great friends in the profession. Throughout the year, you will have a chance to explore careers in Accounting through the following events:

• Spring trip to the Twin Cities (we visit several accounting firms)
• Meet the Firms (annual networking event with employers)
• Accounting Club Banquet (Door prizes, awards and good food!)

Each meeting includes interesting news from the accounting field, information on upcoming events, as well as, pizza and pop. The Bison Fund is a student-run investment group where we don’t just talk about investing—we do it. Our group manages over $2.4 million in real money, gaining hands-on experience researching stocks and making actual investment decisions. Along the way, you'll build skills employers want, connect with industry professionals, and attend major finance events to grow your network and stand out.

New members begin by updating financial models and monitoring earnings calls of the companies we are currently invested in. More experienced members will research new companies, contact management, and build new financial models.

Between earnings season, our meetings are spent developing networking skills, hosting resume and cover letter workshops, providing assistance with LinkedIn, and bringing in guest speakers from the industry.

Bison Ventures is where ideas turn into action. Formed from the merger of the Entrepreneurship Club and Pathway Ventures, this student org is open to anyone interested in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and private equity.

Members connect with inspiring guest speakers, build relationships with industry experts, attend entrepreneurship ecosystem events, and dive into experiential sessions that explore entrepreneurship, innovation, and how ideas turn into real ventures, from concept to prototype and toward venture funding. Through hands‑on learning, members gain insight into how entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture capital work today and how they are shaping the future.

Meetings occur every Thursday at 5:30pm in the Klefstad Conference Room at the Alumni Center.

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Club is open to undergraduate and graduate students both within and outside of the College of Business who have an interest in logistics, operations, or optimizing the flow of products and services.

For students majoring in Supply Chain, Economics, Management, Finance, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering—or for those who simply are curious about how global businesses operate behind the scenes- this club is the perfect place to expand industry knowledge, network with professionals, and develop key skills in a rapidly growing field. We aim to create an engaging, hands-on environment for members to explore real-world supply chain challenges and solutions through workshops, industry visits, and guest lectures.

Members of the SCM Club will gain valuable insights into key topics such as procurement, logistics, production planning, and inventory management. They also get to collaborate on exciting case studies, participate in competitions, and even organize events where industry experts share their experiences and advice on building successful supply chain careers. Students at every level of experience are welcome to join and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from peers, improve problem-solving skills, and become more competitive in the job market.

The mission of Women in Business is to create a community of women who inspire and support each other in their careers. This organization strives to expand career, leadership and networking opportunities for women at North Dakota State University. We aim to engage and celebrate women as leaders in order to help women reach their greatest potential in their futures. As women entering a male-dominated field, we believe strong community and support are crucial to the success and forward progression of women in the world today.

We encourage our members to have an active school life and participate in the activities of North Dakota State University’s professional societies advocating their discipline of Business.
