HERDfolio helps you build and share the story of your NDSU experience. This online platform helps you track everything you’re involved in outside the classroom—like clubs, internships, trainings, and more.
When it’s time to apply for a job, a scholarship, or grad school, HERDfolio makes it easy to show what makes you stand out. Employers and selection committees want more than just good grades—they want well-rounded candidates who are engaged beyond the classroom.

Get Started with HERDfolio
- Go to the app store. Search for “Suitable” and download the app. Sign in with your NDSU email address.
- Enable Push Notifications and access to the camera. You need to allow the camera access so that you can scan the QR code at events and earn points. Finish setting up your account.
- To upload a profile photo, click the gear icon in the top right corner and click on “Scorecard.”
- Earn your first 10 points and the Stampede Starter Badge by finding the task "Create Suitable Profile & Download the App". Swipe right and press "Complete and claim your points.”

Badges, points, and prizes
The top 5 point earners each semester will receive exclusive College of Business merch, plus a certificate recognizing this achievement.
You can keep track of your progress through the mobile app or the desktop version of the platform.
