Dissertation Credits

TL 899 - Doctoral Dissertation Credits

Students are required to submit the Doctoral Dissertation (TL 899) Credit Request Form and meet with their advisor at the beginning of each semester to identify the goals and objectives of the doctoral dissertation credits that are being requested. Once the student and advisor have signed the credit request form, it will be routed to the graduate program coordinator to issue a course permit for the student to enroll in the requested dissertation credits.

Throughout the semester, students should be revisiting the goals and objectives identified on this form to ensure a “satisfactory” grade. At the end of the semester, students will meet with their advisor to discuss progress and submit the Doctoral Dissertation (TL 899) Credit Completion Form, after which the advisor will determine a grade of "S" (satisfactory) or "U" (unsatisfactory).
