NDSU’s Office of Teaching and Learning offers a monthly Innovation in Teaching Award to recognize instructors for efforts to improve teaching and learning on campus.
In January, five individuals were nominated. Several recipients were nominated multiple times with one recipient being nominated by ten different individuals. All nominees for January received awards.
The list includes:
- Christopher Colbert, associate professor in chemistry and biochemistry,
- Jamie Chen, assistant professor of practice in management & marketing,
- Jun Chen, assistant professor in transportation, logistics, and finance,
- Syeed Iskander, assistant professor in civil and environmental engineering, and
- Wenjie Xia, assistant professor in civil and environment engineering.
The award recipients received special recognition from the President's office along with a small gift to brighten their day. All nominees will be entered to win one of several $100 gift cards to be given out at our annual Teaching and Learning Conference on May 23, 2023.
