DQKB Index
The NDSU Disquisition Knowledge Base (DQKB) pairs our formatting and accessibility guidelines with tips and solutions for common issues. DQKB pages can be accessed through this index, through the "In This Section" button on the breadcrumb bar, and through the site map at the bottom of our pages. Our knowledge base is broadly divided into the following categories.
- General Requirements - document-wide settings, such as the required order of sections and accessibility requirements.
- Prefatory Material - including content such as the Title page, Disquisition Approval page, Table of Contents, prefatory lists.
- Disquisition Body - your chapters and appendix material.
- Assorted Guides - procedural manuals for converting your document to PDF, making landscape pages, video tutorials, etc.
If you need assistance with formatting, Word, or LaTeX, please make an appointment with one of our graduate consultants. The Instructional Design Center is also available for formatting help in Word. Workshops are available from both the CFW and IDC throughout the semester. If you encounter issues while using our templates or would like to request a feature, please contact the Disquisition Coordinator.
