Submission Checklist

Your should be met before submitting your disquisition. Before you submit your disquisition, your pre-submission requirements should be complete and your document should be compliant with our formatting and accessibility requirements. Do not assume your document was converted to PDF perfectly; before you submit, review your PDF and complete our submission checklist. Once complete, use the link at the bottom of this page to submit your disquisition and begin your publication review.

As a land-grant institution, North Dakota State University’s tradition and mission includes sharing research with others. After you have completed your publication review and your disquisition is approved, it will be published, automatically establishing your copyright over your work. A published disquisition can be cited by other researchers, and having your work openly available promotes contact with researchers within and across disciplines. All disquisitions will be published by NDSU, but if you need to delay the release of your disquisition because you have a publication pending with another publisher, a pending patent, used copyrighted material owned by another publisher, or included sensitive material, you can request a temporary embargo.

Theses and dissertations published through ProQuest will be available on the NDSU Institutional Repository, Google Scholar, Web of Science, ProQuest itself, and NDLTD. Master's papers are available only on the NDSU Institutional Repository.
