President Elections
- Application due January 23 at 11:59 pm
VP/NCC and Admin Director Election
- Application due January 30 at 11:59 pm
PR Director and Event Coordinator Election
- Application due February 6 at 11:59 pm
Election Information
Elections will be held during the RHA meeting (7 pm, Cater Hall Multi-Purpose Room).
- January 26 | President Election
- February 2 | VP/NCC and Admin Director Election
- February 9| PR Director and Event Coordinator Election
Election Procedures
- Each person submitting an application will need to be formally nominated from the floor by an RHA member.
- Each person nominated will have 5 minutes to present on who they are, why they want the position, and their goals for RHA.
- Following the presentation, there is a 5-minute Q&A time that can be extended twice by 5 minutes each.
- Candidates will not be in the room while opponents are presenting or while the decision is being made.
- All candidates will immediately be told the results at the RHA meeting.
Expectations
As a RHA Exec Board Member, you are expected to uphold all expectations for all positions outlined in the RHA Constitution, along with:
- Attend Executive Board and RHA meetings on Mondays from 7-8:30 pm
- Attend and participate in the transition sessions:
- March 22, 2026, from 4-6 pm
- April 26, 2026, from 4-7 pm (dinner required)
- Attend the Bison Leadership Institute
- Attend the NACURH Annual Conference at Texas A&M (dates TBD)
- Attend the Summer Retreat
- TBD Training with NRHH and Campus Attractions to plan Welcome Week Block Party
- Be in good standing with the University (academic and judicial)
RHA Executive Board Members cannot be student staff members.
