Equipment Checkout Process

Wellness Center members may check out equipment at the Equipment and Towel Checkout Desk in the Wellness Center. A valid NDSU or Wellness Center ID is required to check out/in the equipment. There is no fee.

  • Equipment must be checked in after use or at building close, whichever comes first.
  • Individuals who check out the equipment are responsible for the proper treatment and timely return of the equipment issued.
  • Returning damaged equipment may result in a replacement fee charged to the individual who checked it out.
  • Failure to return equipment on time (or at all) may result in a late fee or a replacement fee as charged to the individual who checked it out.
  • Members with equipment either 1) not returned, or 2) returned late, will be notified by Wellness Center staff. A 48-hour grace period will be given to return the equipment. Following this period, a replacement fee will be applied to their Campus Connection or Wellness Center account, depending on the membership. A member who has been charged an equipment fee will have a hold placed on their account and will be restricted access to the facility until the fee has been paid.
