Adjusted Tuition for Tuition Exchange States and Provinces

Legal residents of states that participate in one of the following programs or who reside in a contiguous Canadian province are eligible for adjusted tuition at NDSU. Students from participating states/provinces qualify for the reduced tuition rate by indicating their legal state/province of residence on the Application for Admission.

Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE)

• Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) (Undergraduate and Professional students)
  Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands
• Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) (Graduate students)
  Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands
• Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP) (Pharmacy students)
  Alaska, Nevada and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands

Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP)

(Undergraduate, Professional, and Graduate students)

• Students from states participating in the Midwest Student Exchange Program.

Contiguous States & Provinces

(Undergraduate and Professional students)

• United States: Minnesota (without reciprocity approval from MN Office of Higher Ed), Montana, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Illinois
• Canada: Manitoba and Saskatchewan
