Student Marketing Assistant
Position Summary
We’re looking for a creative, motivated student to join our Residence Life and Dining marketing team. As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll gain hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and day-to-day marketing operations. This role is highly independent — perfect for someone who’s organized, proactive, and excited to bring ideas to life.
- Schedule: 12-20 hours/week
- Compensation: $14.50
- Perks: 10 meals per week
What You'll Do
Social Media Management
- Create and schedule content for Residence Life and Dining social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Assist with planning content, tracking trends, reviewing analytics, and engaging with audiences.
- Help grow our platforms through consistent posting and creative ideas.
Content Creation
- Capture and edit photos and videos for use across social channels.
- Support storytelling through student-focused, on-brand content.
Administrative Support
- Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks like scheduling posts, organizing files, gathering content, and maintaining project trackers.
- Help prepare materials for events, presentations, and marketing initiatives.
- Support coordination for resource fairs.
Copywriting + Editing
- Write and refine captions, short-form copy, and social media messaging that aligns with our brand voice.
- Proofread digital content—including graphics, posts, and video text—for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Assist with light editing and proofreading of additional marketing materials as needed.
