In addition to aquatic courses, American Red Cross safety education courses and SwimTrain, numerous program offerings take place in aquatics through intramural sports, fitness and GroupFIT. Offerings are listed below:

GroupFIT classes are free for all members. Members can enter the class until max capacity is reached. See the full GroupFIT schedule for class times and days at our GroupFIT Page.

This invigorating class is held in the leisure pool and works to improve your cardio conditioning, muscular strength and endurance using the buoyancy and resistance of the water. This provides giving you a safe, effective and fun workout.

This class offers a great lap swim workout for participants to improve their fitness level, technique and stroke. An on deck coach provides instruction and motivation for each class and varying workouts for all skill levels. *Goggles recommended

This class takes you to the deep end for a challenging fitness workout. At least 80% of your body will be submerged during this class, challenging your abs and core with no stress on joints.

FocusedFIT programs are fee based fitness offerings that vary from 4-6 weeks in duration. Full descriptions, cost and registration information can be found on our Web Portal.

Take your love for yoga to the next level by moving it to the water. This class takes place in aquatics where you will practice various yoga poses over the water on a paddle board. Improve your balance as well as flexibility!

Take your regular workout to the next level with Boga Fit! This is a water-based class that uses a BogaBoardĀ© as the surface for your workout. Increase balance, tone and sculpt with this new style of exercise. If you are bored with your normal workout routine and want something to change it up, Boga Fit is a great way to do this!

Recreation and intramural programs are available on IMLeagues, where you will find cost and registration information.

Staff tested, student approved! The Wellness Center will offer a one-day tournament for canoe battleship using our own canoes. Put together your team and prepare to sink all the opposing canoes in this team oriented, fast-paced, exciting offering that we are happy to have in aquatics!

Experience the game of water polo with the low stress environment of utilizing an inner tube in the lap pool. This one-day event is offered as a fall semester tournament. Check back in the fall to see what water polo is all about!
