This beginner swimming class is for the novice swimmer who wants to learn the basics of swimming and gain comfort in the water. No swimming experience necessary.
Cost is $40 for students and $50 for members.
Limited to the first 5 participants in each class - must register for a spot. Registration closes 48 hours prior to start date.
The NDSU Wellness Center has partnered with Mick's Scuba to bring you a scuba course to aquatics! The class will be offered for $225 plus $94 for course materials that will be purchased through your instructor on the first night.
The scuba course will meet for 6 weeks from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning March 24, 2020.

Fargo, N.D. - Red Cross Learn-to-Swim courses offered through the NDSU Swim Academy are designed to provide children and young teens with a positive, developmentally appropriate aquatic learning experience. Each class is filled with fun, engaging and challenging activities that motivate participants to want to perform and learn how to swim.

Sunrise Swim: Enjoy your morning workout in aquatics without all the bright lights. The overhead lighting will be reduced and the underwater lighting will be turned on. Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:00 - 8:00 a.m - during the academic year
Night Swim: Relax at the end of the day in aquatics. The overhead lighting will be turned down and the underwater lighting and fire pit will be turned on. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday Nights: 9:00 - 10:30 p.m. - during the academic year
March Challenge: 3 Mile Swim
Swim 3 miles in the lap pool this month and receive one entry to win a Series 3 Apple Watch. Laps are recorded in the lap pool area of Aquatics.

This invigorating class is held in the leisure pool and works to improve your cardio conditioning, muscular strength and endurance using the buoyancy and resistance of the water. This provides you a safe, effective and fun workout.
This class offers a great lap swim workout for participants to improve their fitness level, technique and stroke. An on deck coach provides instruction and motivation for each class and varying workouts for all skill levels. *Goggles recommended
Take your regular workout to the next level with this is a water-based class that uses a BogaFITMAT© as the surface for your workout. BOGAFIT focuses on core muscle groups and improving balance and coordination. While this class will challenge even the most fit individuals, it was designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect fitness program for all levels, regardless of experience.

Staff tested, student approved! The Wellness Center will offer a one-day tournament for canoe battleship using our own canoes. Put together your team and prepare to sink all the opposing canoes in this team oriented, fast-paced, exciting offering that we are happy to have in aquatics!
