Comprehensive Fitness Assessment

The Wellness Center provides a comprehensive fitness assessment using the Bod Pod and anthropometric measurements. The assessment will give a baseline of your current fitness level and/or determine health and fitness improvements over time. The fitness evaluation includes tests to determine resting heart rate, blood pressure, aerobic capacity, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition (via BOD POD analysis).

The BOD POD body composition is the most accurate way to determine your body composition (fat mass/lean mass). This safe, non-invasive method requires that you wear a bathing suit or spandex clothing. You will also get results for your resting metabolic rate (RMR) and total energy expenditure (TEE) to help you determine how many calories you need to consume each day.

All assessments can be purchased at the Customer Service Desk. Once purchased, you may schedule your assessment at the First Floor Fitness Desk.
