The NDSU Wellness Center's personal trainers are here to motivate and inspire you to reach your health and fitness goals through safe and effective personalized programs. Our trainers will shape your mind and body into a healthier you!

Our nationally certified personal trainers will provide motivation, education, guidance and individual instruction to improve your overall fitness and achieve the results you want while maximizing your workout and minimizing your risk of injury.

With a Personal Trainer, you will:

  • Achieve optimal results through safe, appropriate and effective exercises and activities.
  • Receive instruction on proper exercise technique and progression.
  • Learn innovative training techniques to enhance your fitness and athletic performance.

Small Group Training

Utilize a Personal Trainer with your friends!

Small Group Training provides a fun, challenging and motivating environment where you and your group will enjoy the benefits of personal training in a group setting. Enjoy the friendly competition and accountability that comes with working out with your friends and one of our Personal Trainers. Small group training sessions are available for groups of 3-6 participants and feature fun, safe and effective movements to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Our certified Personal Trainers will help you and your friends experience a training session with coaching that focuses on science-based exercise techniques and movements for all ability levels. We can work with you whether your goals are to increase your energy levels, run your first 5k, lose 10 pounds or feel stronger!

Want to do Small Group Training but can't convince any of your friends? No problem! Sign up on your own and we will work to find a group for you to join.

Affordable on a college student budget!

Small Group Training costs only $50 per person! You receive two sessions per week over the course of four weeks scheduled around the availability of your group. You do not need to be a student to participate either, Small Group Training is available for all eligible Wellness Center members.

Scheduled Around YOU!

All personal training and small group training sessions are 45 minutes in duration and packages expire six months after purchase. Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable. Scheduled sessions must be cancelled at least 12 hours prior by calling 701.231.7360. All forms (including health history for new clients) must be completed prior to your first session. New clients are required to complete a comprehensive fitness assessment, which is included for all packages. Assessments are also available as a stand-alone service.

Fitness assessments are required for all new personal and small group training clients to aid trainers in designing a safe, effective and individualized fitness program that will help you meet your health and fitness goals.
