Summary

  • There is some fire danger in SW North Dakota for the next few days.
  • Southwestern North Dakota is also the area that is being watch for transition to drought conditions.
  • Ice should be breaking up in the next couple of weeks in some parts of the North Dakota to being the spring flood season.
  • Colder air this weekend, but mainly taking us back to more seasonal temperatures
  • Temperatures expected to bounce up in down the rest of the month (typical for the time of year).
  • Each temperature transition will bring with it at least some chance of precipitation.
